The Autopsy Report For Late OAU Student Timothy Adegoke Has Been Released

The autopsy report of Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), has been submitted to the Osun State Police Command and the force headquarters in Abuja.

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that the report was said to have been submitted today, Wednesday, by the expert who conducted the test.

Adegoke died in a shambles at the Hiltons Hotels in Ile-Ife, as you may recall.

The report was presented on Wednesday at Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja, according to some extremely reputable security sources who requested anonymity.

A copy of the report was also sent to the Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo, according to reports.

When contacted, Yemisi Opalola, a spokesman for the Osun Police Command, stated the command was no longer investigating the issue and forwarded any inquiries to the Force Headquarters in Abuja, which was handling the case at the time.

Gbade Adegoke, the deceased’s elder brother, claimed that while the family had not been officially notified, they had learned that the report had been filed to Osogbo Command and Abuja Force Headquarters.

Adegoke said, “The report has been submitted to Osogbo (Osun Command) and Abuja (Force Headquarter). We don’t know what is written inside. We have not been called, but we know they will call us soon.”

A team of medical professionals performed an autopsy on Monday, November 22 at Osun State University Teaching Hospital in Osogbo.

The remains of Adegoke, placed in a body bag, were carried out of the mortuary and transported in an ambulance to the Radiation Room, where an x-ray was performed.

The body was eventually returned to the mortuary, where a team of pathologists began the post mortem after examining the deceased’s last garments before death.

According to Naim Adekilekun, the counsel for the late Adegoke’s family, the four-hour procedure began at 20:30 p.m. and ended at 6:30 p.m., with representatives from all parties in the case in attendance.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ramon Adedoyin, the founder of Oduduwa University and the proprietor of the Hilton Hotel, is in police detention.
