Father Falls From Roof While Trying To Place Christmas Decorations

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that attempting to decorate his home for Christmas, Joe Cocco fell from the roof of his Wisconsin home.

He was taken to the hospital, where doctors discovered that he had broken his neck.

The 31-year-old was expected to be paralyzed from the neck down after undergoing several surgery.

However, while in hospital, his condition deteriorated, and he died on December 6, leaving a wife and two young girls behind.

“Our hearts are stricken by the immensity of grief as we have lost an incredible husband, father, brother, son, and friend,” a family member wrote on a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for his wife and two girls.

“Our families have gained another guardian angel to watch over us during this unimaginable time.”

Cocco’s mother-in-law, Debbie Stewart, told WMBF News that when he fell from the roof, he was intending to surprise his daughters.
