Mother Detained As She Leaves Her Infant Inside A Toilet Bin In A Plane
A mother has been detained after a newborn baby boy was discovered in an airline toilet’s trash bin.
Touchaheart Nigeria reports that though she first denied parenthood, the 20-year-old Madagascar national is suspected of being the child’s mother. On January 1, she was a passenger on a flight from her native country to Mauritius’ Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
The infant was discovered only after airport officials conducted a cabin examination during a normal customs check.
According to the BBC, the youngster was discovered and transported to the hospital for treatment.
The woman was required to undergo a medical examination to determine whether she had recently given birth.
While she is in the hospital, authorities in the East African country are keeping an eye on her.
According to accounts, both the lady and the baby are in good health.
