Sanwo-Olu Raises Civil Servants Salary By 20%

touchaheart Nigeria reports that a 20% pay raise for civil officials in the traditional public sector has been announced by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

 

Local government areas, local council development areas, and the State Universal Basic Education Board would all gain from the new structure once it goes into force on January 1, 2023.

 

The Lagos State Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, revealed this in a statement on Monday.

 

Also, pls take note that the arrears for the months of January and February will be paid simultaneously with the months of April and March, respectively, in accordance with the announcement.

 

The administration’s dedication to employee welfare is further demonstrated by this measure. The delivery of quality service to the state’s inhabitants is encouraged, and public employees are urged to demonstrate greater passion and dedication.
