Touchaheart Nigeria reports that a suspect in the October 21st, 2022, assault on Apostle Johnson Suleman’s convoy has been detained.
Yusuf Ismail Isa was detained by members of the Intelligence Rapid Team after a thorough investigation, according to Muyiwa Adejobi, spokesman for the Nigeria Police Force.
Adejobi stated; “Following an intensive investigation into the fatal attack on the convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Founder of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Auchi, on October 21, 2022, along with Benin police personnel, who were gruesomely murdered, the operatives of FIB-IRT on Auchi road comprising six people, including three of the assailants, apprehended one Yusuf Ismael Isah ‘m’, a native of Okene, Kogi State and a plumber, at Agbaraoluwa Phase 2 Ijoka, Akure, Ondo State and recovered five Ak47 Rifles, two K2 Assault rifles, 180 live ammunition and 4 suspected IEDs were found in his apartment.”

Yusuf Ismail Isa openly admitted to being among the group of seven individuals who assaulted the convoy and caused the death of three police officers while being presented in front of journalists.

Isa revealed that the incident was an assassination attempt, although he claimed ignorance about the motive behind it. Additionally, he disclosed that he brandished an AK-47 during the assault.
