As Edo Governorship election draws near, the Concern Citizens/Neighbors of Edo state both home and diaspora has expressed Satisfaction in Agbonze Obazele interest in becoming the governor of Edo state after careful analysis & experienced from the Poor Development in Edo state that he will change and position the state to the tune of the People.
The Group described the ambition of the Founder of Legends of Nollywood Award (LNA)PAUL AGBONZE OBAZELE to contest for Edo Governorship election 2024 as a true Grassroot progressive and welcome development.
In a statement to News men in Benin City, the Concern citizens of the state highlighted that Edo State can no longer remain in reserve bench watching other states moving forward with resources available.
They made this known to the public during their Usual Consultation and accessment on the aspirants irrespective of political parties they belong to adding that the Choice and Acknowledgement of the Aspiration and ambition of the Nollywood Legend Paul Agbonze Obazele was based on his Track Records in the past Which they deemed it necessary and essential that when he becomes the governor of Edo state there will be massive Involvement of the voice of the people to have a say in the state affairs in terms management.
Paul Agbonze Obazele is a Nigerian Actor, Philanthropist, Movie Producer who once served as the president of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP).
He was later appointed as the President Edo Film Makers Association (EFMA).

Responding to Edo Hopeful for the future (Concerned Citizens)
The Incoming Governor of Edo state Paul Agbonze Obazele appreciated the good people of Edo for having full confidence in his ambition to contest for the office of the governor.
He added that with level of attention and support from the three senatorial district of Edo state for him adding that he will be there to Govern and represent the will of the people as a true Grassroot servant of the people.
According to Agbonze it’s time we tell the public the Truth about Governance that as a public office holder, a governor remain a servant of the people while the people remain the master to decide what they want from their servant (The Governor)
Paul Agbonze Obazele is the Leading Aspirant for Edo Governorship election slated for 2024 on the Platform of Labour Party (LP).
