Touchaheart Nigeria reports that approximately 90 schoolgirls in a Kenyan school have experienced health issues, after having issues walking, BBC reports on Wednesday.
Kenya health authorities say they are actively investigating the health crisis, given that the students have been hospitalized.
Female students from Eregi Girls High School in the western region of Kenya were reported to also display signs of discomfort in their knees.
A regional director of education, Jared Obiero, said that;
“the education department, the county’s government and public health department are giving a commitment that the children will be treated.”
