Gunmen kills four individuals at Ohii Junction along the Owerri-Orlu Road in Imo State.
It was reported that individuals in a Corolla SUV, discharged gunfire at the junction on Monday, January 29, 2024, resulting in the deaths of the victims.
Facebook users, who shared videos and photos of the incident, said that two of the victims are policemen on duty in the area while the others are civilians.
Meanwhile, suspected robbers attacked several Point of Sale (POS) operators in various areas of Owerri on Monday, stealing their money.
Facebook user, Presh Iheanacho said, “Earlier today, around 9am, some armed men in a Corolla vehicle attacked some POS shops and passersby just before Rapour Junction, dispossessing them of cash and valuables.”
Another resident, Ikechukwu Eze, disclosed that some POS operators were robbed at Amawire – Orji on the Owerri – Okigwe Road.
Iheanacho also disclosed that around 8am on Monday, some criminals stormed Christiana junction at Egbu Road and robbed PoS operators.
