Touchaheart Nigeria reports that Fidelity Bank Plc has decided to keep Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe as their CEO until 2026. The bank sent out a notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to share the decision. They trust Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe’s leadership and think she’s done a great job since starting in 2021.
The decision was made official during a meeting on February 12, 2024. Ezinwa Unuigboje, the Company Secretary, confirmed it. Fidelity Bank believes Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe has helped the bank grow a lot during her time as CEO.

Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe has been working in the banking sector for over 30 years. She’s worked at big banks like Standard Chartered Bank Plc, Zenith Bank Plc, and Enterprise Bank Plc. She joined Fidelity Bank in 2015 and has been a key part of making changes, especially in Lagos and Southwest Nigeria.
Under her leadership, Fidelity Bank has done well financially over the last five years. She’s smart and has learned a lot from universities like the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Kings College London.
