Touchaheart – The Cole Family of Victoria Island, Lagos, has publicly disavowed the marriage between their son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole, and Nollywood actress and comedian Wofai Fada.
In a statement signed by Engineer Kunle Cole, the family declared that no one in their circle was aware of the marriage, and no permission was granted for the union.
Public Statement and Disclaimer
The statement, released to the public, explicitly rejected any claims of a marriage between Taiwo and Wofai, stating that “all publications and documents being circulated about this are to be disregarded.”
The family made it clear that anyone presenting themselves as a new member of the Cole family due to this purported event is not recognized or accepted.

Although she concealed her partner’s identity, the photos hinted at a 2024 wedding, with no official date announced yet.

The Cole family’s public statement leaves no room for doubt about their stance on the marriage.
By rejecting the union and disavowing any knowledge or permission, they have made their position clear to the public.

“Images and videos come to our attention showing our son Taiwo getting married to a Wofai Ewa in a traditional ceremony in Ugep, Cross River State. This serves to notify all acquaintances, family, and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island Lagos are not aware of any marriage ceremony of our Son Taiwo Olakitan Cole, neither did we grant permission nor support in this regard. As such, person(s) parading themselves as new members of the Cole heritage by virtue of this purported event, are not known nor accepted by the family. All publications and documents being circulated about this are to be disregarded.”
