Maruf Abdullahi, aka “Trinity,” a skit maker, was ordered to be remanded in the Agodi Correctional Center on Tuesday by a family court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, for allegedly sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl.
The magistrate, Mrs. P. O. Adetuyibi, ruled that the child’s parents, Abdullahi, 31, Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife Rofiat Ahmed, 29, should remain on remand in Agodi.
The matter was postponed until August 3 for mention by Adetuyibi.
According to reports, Abdullahi and the victim’s parents were accused of conspiring and of sexually abusing or exploiting the victim.

Inspector Oluwakemi Arowosaye, the prosecution’s attorney, had earlier informed the court that Abdullahi, Ahmed, and his wife Rofiat were allegedly involved in a conspiracy to commit sexual abuse.
On December 17, 2022, Arowosaye said “Trinity” is alleged to have sexually abused and exploited a 10-year-old girl in the Kuola neighbourhood of Ibadan.
According to the police, the offence violated Section 35 (1)’s rules and was punishable in accordance with Section 35 (2) of the 2006 Oyo State Child Rights Law.
Additionally, she claimed that it violates the terms of Section 516 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State 2000.
