Drama in court as DSS agents and jail guards battle for control of Emefiele

A dramatic scenario is taking place inside the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, as agents from the Directorate of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Correctional Center (NCC) battle for control of Godwin Emefiele, the Central Bank of Nigeria’s suspended governor (CBN).

Emefiele received a N20 million bail bond and one surety in the same amount from the High Court earlier on Tuesday.

Emefiele is accused with “illegal possession of firearms”-related offences.
