A dramatic scenario is taking place inside the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, as agents from the Directorate of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Correctional Center (NCC) battle for control of Godwin Emefiele, the Central Bank of Nigeria’s suspended governor (CBN).
Emefiele received a N20 million bail bond and one surety in the same amount from the High Court earlier on Tuesday.

The troubled CBN governor will be held at the detention facility till the completion of his bail requirements, according to the presiding judge Nicholas Oweibo’s decision.
Nonetheless, the DSS agents were adamant about holding Emefiele.
On the court’s premises, there were heated exchanges between members of both agencies that eventually turned into a full-fledged brawl.
