Kosisochukwu Owoh Finally Speaks On Death of 24-Year-Old Daughter

Kosisochukwu Owoh Finally Speaks On Death of 24-Year-Old Daughter

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that Nollywood veteran actor Nkem Owoh has spoken up following the passing of his 24-year-old daughter, Kosisochukwu.

Back in July, the actor was criticized for allegedly neglecting his family, which was said to have contributed to his daughter’s death.

A man shared a video on social media, claiming to be related to the actor’s wife. He accused Nkem Owoh of mistreating his family and neglecting his responsibilities as the head of the household.

The man also accused the actor of prioritizing his career over his family. He revealed that Nkem Owoh’s late daughter, Kosisochukwu, who died from liver cancer, had repeatedly pleaded with her father to support her treatment abroad. Unfortunately, he took no action until she lost the battle.

Nkem Owoh took to his Instagram to express appreciation for the support his family received during their grieving period. He mentioned that during times of tragedy, knowing you’re not alone is comforting.

The actor acknowledged that his daughter’s death was an unexpected change, leaving him with a deep sense of loss.

Nevertheless, the support he’s been getting will help him overcome this challenging period.

He said;

“I want to thank you all for the support and love shown to me and my family. When tragedy strikes, there is nothing more heartening than knowing that you’re not alone.

“It was with deep gratitude that I received your note, and calls with condolences. We have seen many changes over the years. But this is a change I did not anticipate and I am feeling an acute sense of loss.

“However, I know that because of your encouragement, I will get through this time. Thank you for helping to push me through my grief.”
