Recall Wizkid’s mother passed away on August 18, 2023 in London.

A candlelight procession in honour of the singer’s mum was held on Wednesday with Wizkid making his first public appearance following a nearly month-long period of silence as he grieved the loss of his mother.

This was followed by a wake held on Thursday where the Starboy admitted to the loss of his mother being ‘the deepest pain’ he has ever felt.

On Friday, the funeral was held with the singer’s mom taking to her final resting place.

The after-party saw a host of guests grace the occasion from music stars, to movie icons down to reality tv favourites.
