TOUCHAHEART – In a precision airstrike, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has dealt a crushing blow to terrorists in Katsina, killing over 80 militants and destroying 45 motorcycles.

The operation, conducted on June 15, targeted a terrorist hideout in Faskare Local Government Area.

Intelligence-Led Operation

The airstrike was launched after intelligence reports indicated that over 100 terrorists were burning houses in a settlement approximately five kilometers from Gidan Kare Village.

The NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, AVM Edward Gabkwet, confirmed that the strikes were carried out at exactly 9:40 pm, with the terrorists caught off guard.

Terrorist Hideout Demolished

The airstrikes demolished the terrorist hideout, killing over 80 militants and destroying their motorcycles.

The location was identified as a convergence point for terrorists planning further attacks on nearby villages.

The NAF’s operation has significantly disrupted terrorist activities in the area, with further intelligence revealing that the terrorists were linked to notorious kingpin Yusuf Yellow and his associate Rabe Imani.
